Our Precious Materials

14K Gold Filled (14/20 GF) 

Unlike standard gold plating, 14K Gold Filled features a substantial, pressure-bonded layer of solid 14-karat gold over a durable jewelers’ brass core (comprising at least 5% pure gold by weight).

  • Longevity & Tarnish Resistance: Offers the rich, warm luster of solid gold with exceptional durability for daily wear.
  • Hypoallergenic: Gentle and safe for sensitive skin, free from nickel and harmful allergens.

Sterling Silver 925 

Crafted with 92.5% pure silver alloyed for strength and everyday resilience. Over time, sterling silver develops a soft, distinctive patina that reflects your personal journey.

Japanese Mizuhiki Cord 

Woven from natural washi paper core tightly wrapped in fine silk or metallic foil, carrying centuries of traditional Japanese knotting heritage. Though surprisingly resilient and feather-light, it requires gentle handling to preserve its delicate form.


Daily Care Ritual

  • Gentle Cleaning: After wearing, gently wipe metal surfaces with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove skin oils and natural residue. Avoid abrasive polishing cloths directly on the delicate Mizuhiki threads.
  • Water & Moisture: To preserve the architectural form and crisp luster of the Japanese Mizuhiki cords, please remove your jewelry before bathing, swimming, or rigorous workouts.
  • Beauty Ritual First: Apply perfumes, body lotions, hairsprays, and cosmetics prior to putting on your jewelry. Chemicals present in beauty products can dull natural metals and soften paper fibers.
  • Thoughtful Storage: When resting, store your piece flat inside your original TOKI linen-lined gift box or an airtight pouch away from direct sunlight, excess humidity, and abrasive surfaces.
